The Wet West Film Festival wants to celebrate water...
...its power and energy, in the myriad of settings and its place in the outdoors.
The intention is to create a splash through the media of film using water as a theme, mixed with the outdoors and stirred by adventure.

 

In February 2008 the organisers of the Wet West Film Festival were forced to cancel the 2008 Wet West Film Festival due to a lack of funding.

 

"After three successful years, we still have plenty of ideas for the future. So whilst we take a well earned break we hope to be able to showcase, once again in the future, the worlds finest films on the theme of water."

 

"We would like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past three years. "
